Mandarin Essential Oil 15mL
Citrus reticulata
The fruit of the mandarin tree was so prized in ancient China that is was considered a good luck charm and was often given as a gift. Used in soaps, skin care, perfumes and flavouring for desserts and liqueurs. Tones sluggish body regions. Safe for babies, children and pregnancy and calms hyper kids. Mandarin has a more delicate top note than orange and is slightly fresher with floral undertones. Sometimes ‘mandarin’ and ‘tangerine’ are wrongly used to describe the same essential oil. Although both trees are of the same species with the same botanical name, the actual fruit of the trees are different in colour, shape and size and the oils are of different chemo-type.
